Taverners
bounced back from tasting defeat for the first time in 2010 in some style with a
rampant performance over Longlevens. The Nailsworth side ran out 8-0 winners
with some scintillating football and devastating finishing. Andrew Griffiths
opened the scoring with a stinging effort from 18 yards out with Matt spring
tapping home to make 2-0 at the break. Taverners came out in the second half
looking for more and duly got what they were looking for with further goals from
Josh Blunt, Darren Peachey, Craig Pidge, Craig Roberts, an own goal and a second
from Griffiths rounding out the win.
