NEALE NETS TWICE BUT TAVS DRAW WITH DOGS

Tavs welcomed Cam Bulldogs to the OHMG in last nights midweek game.

The first half saw some sloppy performances as both teams struggled to get a foothold in the game it took a mistake by Tavs stand in keeper Shaun Helbrow to inject some life into the game as Cams soft shot found it's way fumbled into the goal on the 30th minute. A revived Tavs with a new lease of life then dominated the end of the half creating chances throughout which saw Dean Neale get off the mark with his first goal of the season converting Freddie Searle's Cross to the back post. Tavs maintained their possession and were awarded a Penalty from a corner just before halftime as Ethan Moulden was barged down inside the box. Neale stepped up cool as a cucumber to punish cam with a well taken penalty into the top corner.

Half Time 2-1

The second half saw Tavs the most likely to capitalize throughout but just couldn't put the game to bed. With chances from Searle, Neale, Bennett and Adams only for Cams defence to be equal of anything Tavs threw their way. On the 75th minute Tavs were caught out by a long ball caught in the wind which found it's way behind the defence bouncing awkwardly just outside of the box which caught out keeper Shaun Helbrow who was under pressure by the Cam striker. Helbrow shielded the ball to run out of the play the referee awarded a controversial penalty deemed as obstruction to the opponent Cam capitalized on this to draw level against the run of play 2-2 with 15 minutes to go. Tavs still creating chances saw the best of all fall to the feet of debutant Will Randall who's first touch was almost too good trapping the ball under his feet but unable to get the power to strike the net.

Full Time 2-2
